About Me

It all started over 16 years ago when I brought home my very first dog in college. Her name was Abigail and she became the love of my life.  She helped shape me into the loyal, responsible and caring person I am today. From the day I brought her home I went from being a basic dog lover to a full blown dog FANATIC!

In 2010 my husband and I decided it was time to add to our family and we brought home Peatree an 8 week old Great Dane. We started her in puppy preschool and I became interested in clicker training and positive reinforcement based training.  I also felt it was time to change professions and do something with dogs - my true passion.  I decided to take the Dog Walker Academy workshop and was hooked after the very first day. I launched my business in late 2011 and haven't looked back a single day.

For the last six years I have met many wonderful dogs, dog-parents and become friends with fellow dog walkers. I have truly found my place in life through starting my business with dogs.

As of late 2017 we adopted our third dog a 1 year old cattle dog. It has thrown me back into dog training and classes and it has been truly fun to apply all I'm learning to my work.
